








Sneaker Design Lab – 10-Hours Program | (Online Course Turkish)
Timeless design, modern techniques, and a playful creative lab.
This intensive 10-hour program is designed for anyone who wants to take sneaker design from basic understanding to a more professional level.
Suitable for all skill levels, this live online course guides you from sketching and model development to branding and outsole design – covering the core pillars of the sneaker world step by step.
Format: 5 live online sessions (2 hours each) via Zoom

What You’ll Learn – Program Content
1. Sneaker Culture & Brief History
How the global sneaker movement started, how it evolved, and why it became such a powerful cultural force.
2. Sneaker Form, Templates & Last Logic
Basic silhouette structures, proportions, key lines and the logic behind building a sneaker model.
3. Sketching & Model Development
Starting with simple sketches, capturing form, developing details, and learning techniques to enrich and refine a sneaker design.
4. Color & Material Selection
Getting to know key sneaker components such as leather, textile, mesh, foam, TPU and EVA soles, and learning how to create strong material and color combinations.
5. Branding & Visual Identity
What turns a sneaker into a “brand product”: logo placement, texture language, visual balance and identity-defining details.
6. Hybrid Sneaker Design
Developing variations based on world-famous sneaker models, combining models (hybrid design) and exploring creative transformations.
7. Collaboration Design
Studying examples of brand–designer collaborations and creating your own personal collaboration concept.
8. Outsole & Midsole Design
Understanding outsole and midsole logic, drawing techniques and form development for sole units.
9. Procreate Applications
Developing the same design both on paper and digitally, creating color variations and refining the design using Procreate.
Program Goals
This program aims to teach the core building blocks of the rapidly growing global sneaker design trend, while helping participants:
- Build their own aesthetic perspective
- Learn how to develop sneaker models
- Understand industry expectations and standards
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
- Take a strong first step into professional sneaker design
- Understand trends, materials and different design languages
- Produce portfolio-ready sneaker design works
What You Need for the Sessions
As the sessions are hands-on, participants are kindly asked to have the following ready during class:
- Paper
- Pencil or pen
- Colored pencils or markers
Participants who use Procreate are encouraged to have their tablets with them for the digital exercises.

Studio Lead | PINAR ERGUN
This course is led by Pınar Ergün, designer and educator with over 15 years of experience in footwear and accessory design. She has contributed to Istanbul Fashion Week, worked with Vakko Wedding, and taught at Vakko Esmod Istanbul. With Myyaz Studio, she brings her expertise into an interactive, online format.
